Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data cherrylivecams.com collects, why, and what your rights are. The site is operated by Skyline Softech Ltd, which is the data controller for the processing described here. It is short because we collect very little: there are no accounts, no payments and no video, and favourites never leave your browser.

What we collect

• Server logs. When you load a page our servers record your IP address, browser user agent and the URL you requested. We keep these for up to 30 days and use them for security and abuse prevention only.
• Content removal requests. If you use the content removal form we receive the name, email address, listing URL and reason you give us. We keep them until the request is resolved and for 12 months after that, so we can show what was asked and what we did.
• Emails. If you write to us we keep the email and our reply for as long as we need to deal with it.
• Age check result. When you complete the age check, AgeVerif tells us whether you passed. We store that pass in a cookie on your device for 30 days. We never receive or store your identity documents, your photo or your date of birth.

We don't collect your name, address or payment details when you browse, and we can't, because there is nothing to sign up to. Favourites and the dismissed age banner are kept in your browser's local storage and are never sent to us.

Why we process it, and on what basis

Under UK GDPR we rely on two legal bases.

• Legitimate interests: keeping the site secure, preventing abuse and running the service, which is where server logs fall, and counting visits with Google Analytics so we know which pages people read. You can stop the analytics at any time by blocking cookies for this site or with Google's opt-out add-on; see the cookie policy.
• Legal obligation: checking that visitors are adults under the Online Safety Act, and handling takedown and content removal requests.

Who we share it with

We don't sell personal data. Two processors handle data on our behalf: AgeVerif, which runs the age check and returns only a pass or fail, and our hosting provider, on whose servers the site and its logs run. We may also disclose data where the law requires it, for example to a regulator or in response to a court order.

Advertising

Some pages show ads, only once you have passed the age check and never on this page or the other legal pages. They are served by the cam networks we list and, where we use one, an ad network such as ExoClick. When an ad loads, the company serving it receives your IP address, browser details and the page it appeared on, and may set its own cookies to limit how often you see the same ad and to count clicks. Each of them decides what it does with that data under its own privacy policy, so it is a separate controller rather than a processor of ours. We never pass them anything else about you.

Leaving the site

When you click a room you go to the performer's network under our affiliate link. From that point the network is responsible for your data under its own privacy policy. The networks we list operate worldwide, so once you've clicked through your data may be processed outside the UK by them. Affiliate tracking happens on the network's side through the link, not through any cookie we set.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for access to the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to our processing of it, and to receive it in a portable form. To use any of these rights, email [email protected] or write to us at the address below. We acknowledge every request within two working days.

If you think we've handled your data badly you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We'd rather hear from you first so we can put it right.

Under 18s

This site is for adults only. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and the age check exists to keep them out. If you believe someone under 18 has used the site, tell us.
